Why Pumpkin? Pumpkin is excellent for all skin types especially environmentally challenged and damaged or sensitive skin. It is high in vitamin A(skin healing), C(antioxidant), and zinc. This masque also contains other wonderful ingredients including kaolin clay for detoxifying; honey, which is a humectant(holds moisture to the skin), is anti-bacterial, and regenerative; and milk powders which help soothe, soften and regenerate skin cells. Pumpkin also has enzymes that act like alpha-hdroxy acids. These loosen the "glue" that holds those dead skin cells to the skin. They lift the dead cells up and off the skin to reveal fresh new skin.
