What is Kindermusik?
Simply put, Kindermusik is a music and movement program for ages infant to 7+. Each week in class you'll play, listen, and dance to music that will impact you and your child in profound ways. That's because every song, story, and two-step has a carefully chosen purpose in this creative curriculum, one that's designed to stimulate and strengthen the vital neural wiring taking place in your child's mind, right now. Candy has been a Kindermusik educator for 12 years, and will guide you every step of the way so you know how each activity contributes to your child's overall growth and development. She also works with children with special needs. If you are the parent of a child with special needs, there are a limited number of partial scholarships available.
The latest research with proven methods - that's Kindermusik, too. Our child-centered curricula incorporate ongoing, in-classroom studies with our own, 30-years' experience in music and child development. Plus, we've combined the best music learning methods found in Orff, Kodaly, and Suzuki.
"Take-home" books, instruments and CDs from class let you take learning with you wherever you go. All while strengthening the emotional bond between you and your child.
So whether it's twirling under a sea of scarves, experimenting with age-appropriate instruments, singing about a scampering squirrel, creating a musical ensemble, or snuggling in your lap during story time, Kindermusik speaks your child's language and offers her (and you!) the best music and movement class available.
Class Dates
2010
Fall/Winter: Classes start September after Labor Day, and end in December or January. Classes are limited, so please register as soon as possible to reserve your space in class. To reserve your space, you must submit a registration form along with tuition and materials fee. If you are registering more than one child, be sure to click the appropriate choice. There is a discount for second child.
*With a limited number of spaces in the classes, and because there is online registration, you will want to register early. I have had waiting lists for the Our Time classes consistently. *
If you are interested in a payment plan, please choose that option with your online registration. With the payment plan, the first payment with materials fees are due at registration, and then 2nd payment due by October 1, and 3rd payment due by November 1. If payments are not paid on time, a friendly reminder will be sent first, and then a paypal invoice will be sent by email along with a $10 fee that will be added for each late payment. If you know your payment will be late, please let me know and I will waive the late fee. As long as there is available space, you can enroll anytime, classes can be prorated.
There will be no classes the week of Thanksgiving or for school Christmas break(2 weeks). For Winter/Spring class, there will be no class the week of spring break. You will receive a "Welcome Letter" with info and policies at or before the first class. Please print this information for reference.
If you are interested in Young Child please keep in mind that this is a 4 semester program.
Location
All classes will be at the"DisAbility Connections" 409 Linden Ave. off Fourth St.(behind McDonalds on Prospect). Classes are subject to a minimum enrollment. If minimum is not met by start of first classes, you will be notified and may choose to switch day/time or have material fee returned.

Payment
Payments can be made with credit card, paypal, or check. If you pay with a check, please put it in the mail no later than one day after registering to: 3328 Robinson Rd. Jackson, MI 49203
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU CANCEL 2 WEEKS OR LESS BEFORE CLASSES START. IF YOU CANCEL BEFORE THIS, $60 WILL BE RETAINED.
